CODEX is a model for long-term MIBEL analysis that allows the representation either hourly either by states of the time horizon, the representation of generation resources by technologies or groups, the modeling of competition and the secondary reserve, as well as the treatment of uncertainty by characterizing the stochastic variables mentioned above. In this task, improvements were proposed in the representation of renewable energies for the European countries represented in the model.
